Report on the progress of the High Court action for compensation against Lambeth Council, the London Residuary Body (ex-GLC) and the Plaintiffs (the tenants of the Estate taking part in the action). Action commenced in 1987. There are 195 Applicants, 2 Defendants and 27 Third Parties. Hearing on 7 July 1987 – the Judge gave directions on future conduct of the case. Trial will start on 3 June 1991 – 8 weeks set aside for the hearing at the High Court, Strand, London. Meeting Dates given for the Plaintiffs to come to the Office to consider continuing with the court case and likely costs, eligibility for assistance under the Green Form or Legal Aid Schemes.
